La Casa Di Mirò

The sea view was breathtaking, and everything was so clean. Carmen bakes delicious cakes for her guests and thoughtfully caters to different dietary requirements. Vicky, our furry little friend, and sweet Carmen welcomed us warmly. The station isn’t far, and the seafront is easy to reach if you fancy a walk. This felt like a second home, full of love, kindness, and helpfulness, not just a B&B. Thank you so much ❤️

The owner gave us a very kind welcome and plenty of tips about the surrounding area. The property was elegant and well kept, and I liked it a lot. I’d recommend it to young and old alike.

Carmen and Giovanna were so welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our week based at La Casa di Mirò in Catanzaro Lido. Carmen is a force of nature and lovely to talk with. We had a wonderful stay on the Ionian coast and will definitely return. The villa is beautiful, detached, surrounded by greenery, and secured by an electric gate. There’s indoor parking. It has five rooms and a breakfast room with a long table, plus everything you need, including a fridge, kettle, coffee maker, and toaster. Guests can also use a dispenser for still or sparkling water. Our triple room was spacious, with a lovely balcony looking out over the sea. The bathroom was large and had a window. The best part, though, was the delicious cakes Carmen baked every day and her homemade jams, in flavours like lemon, bergamot, strawberry, and citrus.

We arrived two hours after check-in had ended, but still got an excellent welcome. The room was neat and clean, with the essentials, including towels and sheets. Breakfast was included, with a variety of homemade cakes. The strawberry tart was so good I went back for seconds.
