We've felt right at home at Hotel Antares, just steps from the sea, and the staff are friendly and helpful. This was our third year in a row choosing it for a family vacation. The superior rooms are medium-sized, always spotless and equipped with every comfort. This time we got a small balcony with a side sea view at no extra charge. There's a solarium and a hot tub too. Cleanliness was impeccable, and service, especially in the dining room, has improved a lot. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

The location is excellent, very close to the beach, and the staff are very friendly. But for what I paid, I expected more. We stayed in high season. The room had air conditioning, and the small bathroom had a renovated shower stall, but there was limescale on the fixtures and the furnishings were very dated. Cleaning was very basic, with hair everywhere that wasn't ours. The bed was very hard and the pillows ultra-thin. The food was excellent but a little too garlicky; the buffet felt monotonous, with the same vegetables or appetizers each time. The property could use some renovation overall. At check-in, we got no information or services, and the welcome felt very superficial. The entertainment was fine for children, but not adults. The entertainment staff were too pushy and talked too much during meals. Not everyone wants to be hassled on vacation, especially while eating; that isn't entertainment. The beach was well-kept, but nobody gave us any information about its services.

A perfect three-day stay. The hotel was just what I expected, and the staff were friendly and ready to help with anything. Breakfast was plentiful, and the Nutella crepes alone are worth the price of admission. Use the hotel bikes available to guests. I'd do it again.
