Hotel Caesar

The furnishings aren't modern, but everything is carefully maintained, welcoming, and impeccably clean, above average in my view. The food and quality of the dishes were excellent too. What really stood out was how friendly the owners and wait staff were, always helpful and smiling, and they made us feel welcome. We stayed two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The location is great, just steps from the center and the sea, so getting around on foot was easy. We'll definitely return!!

I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel is old, the room was small for three people, and the bathroom was dated. There's no lobby or even a sofa where you can wait for lunch, since that space was filled with lunch tables. The food wasn't anything special either. On our last day, the fried fish with fried vegetables was awful. The four shrimp and two baby octopus weren't suitable for frying and came out hard and rubbery.

We came across the hotel by chance and were welcomed like family. Patrizia and Davide, thank you for being such lovely people. The hotel was spotless, with a family atmosphere, excellent food, and great housekeeping. Salvatore, we'll miss you. Dining room service was exceptional, as was everyone else's work. Please say hello to Valentina Vittoria and the other waiters, and to the floor maids who did a fantastic job. They also have arrangements with some beach resorts. We chose Flora and Carmela and had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back.

Everything made for a perfect two-week stay in August: the hosts' hospitality, the staff's professionalism, the excellent food, and the location. I'll definitely be back next summer.
