Hotel Il Gabbiano

The hotel was clean, well looked after, and handy for both the beach and nearby amenities. Our spacious room had everything we needed, but noise from neighboring rooms came through because the soundproofing was poor, and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. There are no half-board or full-board options. We spent three days here on a summer break and had a really pleasant time overall. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful with our requests. Reception was welcoming and professional, breakfast was generous and varied with fresh food, and the daily room cleaning was excellent. Covered parking was another plus, just a five-minute walk away and only €5 a day. I’m giving four stars because of the bed and noise from the rooms.

My wife and I had a great vacation here. The hotel is close to the sea, and our room was clean. Ms. Mirella from housekeeping was really friendly, and breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. The waitresses and Alessandro were kind and attentive, and the night porter was also friendly, available, and helpful. Thanks again for everything.

We booked this very short vacation on a whim, and the hotel was a pleasant surprise. It's about 50 meters from the beach and a 10-minute walk from the Cattolica fountains. The staff are qualified and incredibly friendly, making you feel at ease in true Romagna fashion from the first phone call. It's a three-star hotel with an indoor pool and sauna, and breakfast is an international buffet. Three helpful, friendly staff assist there, including two waitresses and Alessandro, a waiter who's especially smiley and kind.

The location is excellent, and room service and reception were fine. Breakfast, though, was a letdown. They call it a buffet, but everything is made to order, and the staff can be pushy, which put us off asking for anything. The products were poor quality, and even water wasn't set out, so we had to ask for it. Staff also took breaks during their shifts, sitting down to eat breakfast like guests. The rooms aren't well soundproofed either, and noise from next door woke us every morning at 7:50.
