Room 220 was hot and uncomfortable because the air conditioning barely worked and shut off in the middle of the night. I raised it three days in a row, but was only told they would look into it. Nothing got fixed, and nobody offered a fan or another room. The fridge was unreliable too. One day everything in it was warm and spoiled when we returned. Breakfast was frustrating every morning. Cereal was provided, but there was no milk on the table. We had to ask each time, and staff brought a tiny splash in a bowl from the back instead of setting milk out properly. That felt very unprofessional. The shower head was broken and hanging down as well, and only got fixed after we complained, something that should have been sorted before guests arrived. This was the worst hotel experience I've had. The hotel failed at basic comfort and service. I wouldn't recommend Hotel Nautilus to anyone.

The restaurant attached to the hotel, right across from it, was a real highlight. Breakfast and the meal we ate there each day were consistently delicious, and quality clearly matters to them. The location is great too, about a 300-meter walk from the Adriatic coast. What made the stay memorable was the kindness of the owners and staff. Michela, Vincenzo, and the whole team made us feel like family and were willing to help even with things beyond their usual hotel duties. They were warm from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in good condition, though there were a few small things that could be improved, and I expect they'll be addressed during the coming seasonal break. I think the Nautilus Hotel deserves more than its 3-star rating for its service, comfort, and hospitality. I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting Cattolica. Thanks to Michela, Vincenzo, and the team for such a memorable stay.

Most things were fine, but the shower's hot water and the organisation at the hotel restaurant were problems.
