Hotel Villa Pozzi

The breakfast had both sweet and savory choices and felt complete, but the products were low quality. The building is old and hasn’t been fully renovated, and the room was uncomfortable: the very old windows and shutters wouldn’t close, there was no air conditioning, and the ceiling fan was as noisy as a helicopter. The bathroom was tiny. The sink was in the room, far from the hairdryer on the other side. I also found a cigarette under the bed. It was still there the next day, when I told the staff. Calling this a hotel doesn’t seem appropriate.

For a one-star place, it went beyond what we expected. We spent two days here over the May 1st long weekend, and our clean room was close to the sea and local amenities. The young people running the property were very kind and helpful. The man who had taken over management was especially courteous, the kind of courtesy that’s hard to come across these days. Good value for money, and recommended.

A big thank you to Lorenzo and everyone at the hotel. My parents spent three weeks there, and they had a wonderful experience. Lorenzo is a wonderful guy, and everything about their stay was wonderful. See you next time!

We visit Cattolica every year for a few days and will definitely stay here again. The varied breakfast deserves more than one star, and the on-site parking is convenient, though you need to reserve it. Most of all, the staff were kind and welcoming, which is hard to find, especially in busy August.
