The one thing I liked was how peaceful it was, with some cute little animals around. The rest was awful. Our room was dirty, with sauce stains on the beds, which I hope weren't blood, and hair everywhere. There was no water in the bathroom the next morning, and the pool was so green we couldn't swim.

The service and hygiene were both terrible. I regret suggesting Hotel Pineta Castello to my son for his daughter's baptism. He ended up hearing criticism from the guests. After this experience, I wouldn't recommend the services here. My verdict is simple: TERRIBLE.

The owner was very kind and gave us useful advice, and we ate really well. My family and I had a great stay, despite some less-than-great reviews I'd seen beforehand. The hotel isn't new, but it's clean and well cared for. I'd recommend it.

The facilities were in deplorable shape, and the place felt abandoned and downright frightening, with no service. The location is unbelievably bad. The roads are steep and carry traffic in both directions, so meeting a car head-on on those slopes feels dangerous. They advertise a restaurant, but there isn't one. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm not exaggerating when I say it should be removed from accommodation websites.

The setting is lovely and quiet, with a wide view over a green valley. It's basic but inexpensive, and breakfast was decent.
