The balconies did have quite a few pigeons, though the ground-floor space was great. This is a lovely, well-kept apartment complex with a pool, big terraces and balconies, plus covered parking on site. The beach is just a 3-minute walk 👍

The beach sand was so dirty that I once found a syringe needle in my foot and had to go to the local hospital. At nearly €1,400 a week, that was unacceptable. We were a family of two adults and three children, staying August 5 to 26, 2023, and had initially fallen for the well-maintained, spacious apartment and its great spot near the sea. But our main problem was how the property was managed. We rented it in February 2023, and €210 was added to the quote because energy costs had risen in summer 2022. We were verbally told that extra charge could be removed if prices went down in summer 2023. The Italian PUN for electricity did fall from €0.543/kWh in August 2022 to €0.105/kWh in August 2023, yet the extra energy charge stayed, even after I asked about it. Read the contract closely: using the air conditioning costs €2.50/hour. It also didn’t say anywhere that one cycle of the shared washing machine would cost €6. I seriously don’t recommend this property.

The managers are excellent, the place is good, and the price is fair.
