The direct ferry takes 30 minutes, and the walk to the nearest one is only 5 minutes, which made getting to Venice very convenient. The place itself was a different story. During our few days there, they added unexpected charges that hadn’t been mentioned when we booked. The facilities were very basic, and you need to bring toilet paper, soap, and bedsheets if you don’t want extra fees. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable too. It worked as a base for day trips to Venice, but for a comfortable stay, we’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The walk to the beautiful beach was a real pleasure, and the apartment is very close to the port, making it a great base for exploring Venice. It’s a beautiful apartment with a friendly owner. I highly recommend it!

Marisa arranged bikes for our group, which was a real highlight since the area is so bike-friendly. There’s a beautiful beach nearby, and the big garden and tranquil surroundings made it lovely to enjoy nature. We had a great family stay at Giardino al Mare, seven people across two apartments. It’s perfectly placed for exploring the islands of Venice, Murano, and our favorite, Burano. The jetties are a 5-minute walk away for catching the ferry. We highly recommend Marisa’s accommodation and will definitely return on our next visit. Many thanks to Marisa & Mauro.

Venice is about a 30-minute vaporetto ride away. The place itself is lovely, and the owner was wonderful and helpful.

We had a friendly hostess and free parking. The harbor is an easy walk away, making this a good base for visiting Punta Sabbioni.
