We came at the end of April, in the off season, and everything was really clean and well maintained. The sports facilities were in good shape, the shop was well stocked with fair prices, and the staff were polite and helpful. We had full board: the food was okay, with plenty of choice, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, plus good coffee. Our family mobile home had three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was perfect for a large family. The pools were properly warm, though sun loungers cost extra. A beach umbrella was included and assigned to our accommodation. It was peaceful until May 1, when the place suddenly filled up. I wouldn’t choose to come in high season. There were lots of families with small children, and some German families let their kids out at 7 AM to scream and ride scooters. There was shouting everywhere, in the restaurant, at the beach and around the pools. That’s not the campsite’s fault, but it’s useful to know. We travel a lot in southern Italy and haven’t experienced such a lack of consideration for others before.

We felt right at home at this amazing campsite. The pool area is great, the sanitary facilities are very clean, and it’s extremely family-friendly. The gym is excellent too. Special thanks to Odette, who knows her stuff and is genuinely motivating.

We’ve stayed at Ca'Pasquali Village four times, but this was the first visit that left us disappointed. We booked seven months ahead, paid full price with no discounts, requested two particular tent pitches and received written confirmation. I understand that a requested location can’t be guaranteed, and I accept that. Still, ending up beside a noisy electrical transformer where sleep was nearly impossible felt disrespectful and almost like a joke. We paid the deposit in December and asked for adjacent pitches in the back of the campsite, where we’d stayed in previous years. The request was confirmed, and our requests had always been honored before. When we arrived, the pitches weren’t together and the location hadn’t been respected. We were put in alley 33 by the pool. The pool noise was manageable, but the wall housing what seemed to be an electrical transformer was right there. Its noise wasn’t too noticeable by day, but got much louder at night and periodically intensified. It was nearly impossible to fall asleep next to it. In my view, this pitch belongs in the technical zone and shouldn’t be offered to guests. Maintenance staff were often around, and their small electric utility carts were frequently parked partly on our plot. After talking with reception, we moved both tents to another plot in alley 34 and used alley 33 for parking our vehicles. That was clearly below the standard we’d paid for and expected. During the stay I filled out a survey about our satisfaction and explained the situation in detail, hoping for at least a compensation suggestion. Nobody replied, not even with a simple apology or acknowledgment. Then, on our fourth night, we heard a strange noise late in the evening. With help from neighbors and their powerful flashlight, we saw that a large branch, about 25 cm in diameter, had cracked above our tent. We rushed in and carried our children out. I’ll never forget the fear in their eyes. A friend went to alert the night staff, and I have to commend the employee who quickly arranged alternative accommodation in a bungalow. By morning the branch had been removed, leaving wood shavings over our tent. Things turned out okay, but it’s hard not to think about what could have happened if it had fallen on our sleeping children. The whole incident leaves serious questions about how the campsite’s trees are maintained. Are they inspected and trimmed regularly before the season? A branch like that doesn’t crack overnight.

The staff and service really made the holiday. From the energetic young team running kids’ clubs for toddlers and teens and putting on the evening shows, to the people working in bars, restaurants and stores, and Odette in the fitness arena, everyone was multilingual and so accommodating. They made families feel welcome and special. Five stars to every one of them. The campsite itself is small to medium-sized, set in a picturesque pine forest with decent shade throughout. There are plenty of facilities for different kinds of families. The cabins are cozy and well equipped, with a hob, microwave and two TVs, and everything works well. Each cabin has its own loungers and shade on the private beach right beside the site. The pool area is beautiful, spotless and always well staffed. The tiles can be slippery, so take care with kids, and there isn’t much shade around the pool. It’s Venice, so expect mosquitoes in the evenings. Bring bug spray!

We felt so comfortable here and had a great holiday. There were activities for all tastes and ages, including yoga, aquagym, step and pound. Our teenage kids really enjoyed them. The entertainment team were lovely and friendly, and gave their all in every activity. The musicals were also really well prepared. Thanks to the whole entertainment crew, and to the campsite staff who helped with everything we asked for. We’ll definitely be back!
