Al Mare da Marra

We were happy with the apartment and the agency’s service, which was impeccable. The bathroom and TV gave us a few small problems, but both were sorted quickly, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It was clean, though the mattress had clearly seen better days. Salento was absolutely wonderful. See you next time!

Alex got in touch shortly before we arrived and gave us the right directions to the B&B, which made things easy from the start. He was thorough, reliable, and professional. The room was spotless and had every comfort; when a small issue came up, it was resolved quickly. It’s in a handy spot near the start of town, with the beautiful beaches a 10-minute walk away and everything else close by. We didn’t need to drive, and parking was easy right outside or nearby during our stay between June and early July. Breakfast is served at the café in the square. A wonderful vacation, highly recommended.

At Marra al Mare, the staff were friendly and always ready to help, and everything was impeccably run. The property was welcoming, clean, and very well kept, with an excellent location near the sea. We had a truly enjoyable weekend and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

The owners were wonderful. We met Desirè and her father, Giuseppe, who were hospitable, helpful, and attentive to what guests needed. The villa is close enough to walk to the sea in about 10 minutes, which suited us because we love walking. We stayed in the smaller upstairs unit, which has a very large private terrace and is due to be renovated for next season, so I won’t say more about it. There are also four ground-floor units with private gardens. The pool and shared area were very well maintained, and the well-equipped, furnished property gave us a nice balance of privacy and time around other guests.
