Hotel Rosa Resort

A lovely romantic place with great views, and especially worth considering if you're on a motorcycle. The staff were very nice, the room was pleasant, the bed comfortable, and everything was spotless. The restaurant terrace has a wonderful view. There are tools available in the garage for motorcyclists, and I noticed lots of people on cycling holidays too, so it seems like a good base for them. I didn't use the pool, so I can't comment on it. The first time we stayed, there was no barn smell in our room; the second time it was very strong. I understand it's the countryside and cattle are all around, but it may depend on which side your room faces. Breakfast was decent, with very nice freshly squeezed orange juice, though I think a few more choices would help, perhaps an omelette, hot dogs, or bacon.

The pool is nice, but it costs an extra €6,- to use. I think it should be included in the room price. Breakfast could be improved. There were lots of pastries but not enough fresh, healthy options. The espresso was just bad regular coffee, and the bread and yoghurt tasted old.

A charming, characterful place at a budget price. Just be aware breakfast costs 10 euro, and you need to reserve for either breakfast or the restaurant. The fitness center and pool are optional extras. In my case, I put down a CC that wasn't charged until check in.

For 68€ for a double room with breakfast in early May, outside the season, this was one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The place is a real gem, traditionally decorated in a way that's hard to find elsewhere. Everything was exceptional, from the owner and breakfast to the room, cleanliness, and care over every detail. We'd book again if we planned a trip near Dolomites.
