The meals were a weak point. Breakfast could use eggs, sausages, muesli, fruit, or vegetables, and dinner needed more variety since two days in a row were almost the same. The Wi-Fi was weak and slow, and only worked around reception. There was no ski room, so we had to use a garage full of things and flowers. Everything else was OK. It probably should be a 2-star hotel.

We enjoyed our stay, and the staff were hospitable. My mother and I had a comfortable fourth-floor room with a large balcony and beautiful mountain views. Breakfast was a classic Italian spread: tasty cheese and cold cuts, fresh tangerines, yogurt, and jams. We were on a tour, so I can’t really judge the location, but with a car it’s easy to get to Merano, Bolzano, Bressanone, Lake Garda, and other places. There are also mountain hikes. The rooms were chilly in December, though that’s common in Italy.

I ended up leaving the deposit and walking out of a run-down 1970s building. When I arrived, I asked to cancel the first night, but they said I’d have to pay for the whole stay without even understanding why I was asking. It’s not as if this were a 5-star hotel. The receptionist was laughing. I was speechless. Shameful, with zero humanity.

Dead flies on the floor, dirty windows, and a dirty room. We weren’t given the room until 3 PM. They call it a 3-star hotel? It doesn’t deserve even one star.

For €70 per person with half board, breakfast was dry panettone and dinner was soup in portions of about two tablespoons of broth. The dining room was cold, there was no bar service, and staff were barely available. They don’t deserve even one star. Throwing the money away might have felt better. P.S. You can get much better places to stay for that price, in nicer ski areas too.
