Villa Il Poggetto

The cottage was very peaceful, so it suited us well for a relaxing week with our two dogs. We weren’t charged extra for them. The main downside was the bed, which wasn’t very comfortable, and the pool was fine but could have been cleaner. The property and grounds seemed somewhat neglected, with a few cobwebs, though that felt understandable in the countryside. Inside, there was air conditioning, a hot shower, and a small kitchen with a sink, little fridge, and induction hob. You can choose either a continental or Italian buffet breakfast. Good value for money.

We came with our dogs and spent five nights surrounded by Tuscan nature. It was such a lovely place to recharge. The staff were friendly, kind, and professional, and Guia deserves a special thank you.

We had a really good weekend in a beautiful property full of antiques and furniture. Our room was comfortable, with a huge bathroom, and the pool was great. Everyone welcomed us warmly and professionally. The location works well for visiting both the villages and the sea. Special thanks to Mr. Peppe, Guia, and Ketty.

The pool was clean and looked after, and the staff were friendly and keen to help with what guests needed. With greenery all around and a really relaxing atmosphere, we had a very pleasant stay. We’ll definitely come back.
