The beach access tickets were such a nice extra, and the staff were so helpful throughout our stay. We also loved the clean, lovely room and its beautiful beach view. It’s set in a peaceful neighborhood, with an easy, pleasant walk to the main sights. A great choice if you’re after somewhere quiet. We loved staying here and would recommend it.

Check-in was easy, and we enjoyed the walk by the ocean into the main town. The room had clearly been redone beautifully, with a big modern bathroom and a roomy patio. There was some noise, though it wasn’t too bad, probably because there’s a café below.

The balcony had no sea view at all, despite us paying extra for a sea-view room. Its automatic lights also stayed on through the night and were really disturbing. The building is old, breakfast was poor, and the noise from doors slamming whenever someone went into a room kept us from sleeping. The rooms may have been renovated, but the Booking photos looked clearly overstaged. Overpriced and disappointing.

The walk to the historic center was short and scenic, and breakfast came included. There’s also a café next door for another espresso or a snack. My room was spotless and very comfortable, with a spacious private terrace that was lovely for coffee or wine. The rooms have been beautifully modernized, whatever the outdated Google photos suggest. The staff were warm and went out of their way with local tips. I had a fantastic stay and would gladly return.

We had a great view and a very good breakfast. The place felt quiet and modern, and there are a few restaurants close by along the seafront, a nice spot to watch the sunset. Cefalu is about a 15-minute walk away. Good value for the money.
