We had a great time tasting a selection of organic wines at the b&b’s wine bar. The atmosphere was friendly and peaceful, and breakfast came with delicious homemade elderberry and chocolate cake.

The breakfast deserves a special mention, it was truly delicious. It’s a beautiful place, and the friendly owner speaks good French, which helped since our Italian is poor.

I found this lovely B&B while hiking the Sentiero Italia. It sits right near the historic center, and the garden looks out over the surrounding greenery. It took some effort to get there since the narrow lanes aren’t marked on OpenStreetMap, but it was well worth it. Breakfast was fantastic and generous, with just about everything, including an egg and dark bread. For a stay of several nights, they clean the room every day, which feels like a real luxury. Teresa is a fairy godmother. I hope more hikers on the Sentiero Italia stay here after me. My tip is to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. I paid €40 for a single room when booking directly in May 2025.

Our car broke down and we ended up in Rivello by mistake. It turned out to be a magnificent place to rest and relax. Mrs. Teresa is incredibly kind and sweet, as my daughter put it, and we felt right at home. The place was impeccably clean, and the help and courtesy were wonderful. Exploring the medieval village, with its local flavors and enchanting atmosphere, made the stay even better. We’ll definitely return.

A welcoming, relaxing place to pause on the drive home from vacation. We spent half a day in nearby Maratea visiting the Christ the Redeemer statue, then had dinner on Lake Sirino. Thanks, Nino, for the helpful suggestions.
