AWA Cefalu

We spent five days in the top-floor apartment near the beach, and it was a special place to stay. There are quite a lot of stairs, but they lead to a private patio with views over the beach, the ocean, and along the street. The apartment suited us perfectly for those five days.

Please choose somewhere else. We were left outside the apartment from 1 a.m. for three hours because nobody had arranged for the keys to be left, and no one was available to help. The website promises 24/7 customer service, but since then the response has been completely unhelpful and not apologetic at all. The customer service has been horrendous and heartless. They shouldn't call this a hotel.

No one was at the property, nobody sent check-in instructions, and I couldn't reach the phone number. No one really spoke English either. I stood outside for an hour unable to get in. This place is very poorly run. Don't come! Driving here was a nightmare too: there's no parking, and the road is narrow and hard to navigate. I scratched the car here.

We couldn't get into the apartment we'd booked and had confirmed, and ended up left out on the street until 4 a.m. When we asked for a refund for that night, they refused. I've never had anything like this happen in my life. The apartment itself was nice, but I could never recommend the place.
