The central location was a real plus, though it can get noisy at night, which might bother light sleepers. We stayed just one night, and for that short stay the quality was good for the price, even if the place was a little dated. We arrived late and ran into a few technical problems, but the staff were very helpful. They also stored our bags later, even without a dedicated luggage room. We always felt looked after.
The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, sharing local tips and a map full of recommendations. He also gave us a discount code for the nearby Daphne Parking Station, about 10 minutes away on foot. In the historic center, you really only need a cabin bag or small luggage, and we appreciated that help. The room is up two flights of stairs, but its location makes the climb worthwhile. In just a 3-minute stroll, you’re at the stone archway to the beach, and the Duomo piazza is only 20 metres away. There are restaurants, boutiques, and lively bars all around. Our room had old-style tiled floors, a comfortable bed, effective air conditioning, and a little Juliette balcony above the cobbled street. We could watch the street life and glimpse the piazza from there. The sandy beach was lovely for swimming, with warm, clear water and a magical sunset view. Cefalù felt romantic, picturesque, and full of character. We absolutely loved staying in the heart of its historic centro.
The room was immaculate, the towels and laundry smelled lovely, and the quality felt above the standard of Italian hotels. Our host helped us sort out parking, picked us up from outside town in a golf cart, welcomed us, and even upgraded us to a room with a balcony. We also got a voucher for breakfast at the piazza di duomo. We decided to pay for it ourselves because we’d already had a huge breakfast and wanted our host to keep the money as an extra for our stay. Everything was wonderfully organized, and we’d love to come back.
Angelo was so helpful with everything, even advising us on parking options in Cefalu. He couldn’t have done more to help during our stay. The apartments are in a great spot with lots of restaurants nearby, and the beach is around a 5 minute walk away. Our room was lovely and clean, with a cute balcony.
Angelo was friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and nice. We’d recommend it. It’s right in the middle of Cefalù.
