We first stayed here with the family 10 years ago and fell in love with the vaulted ceilings and sea view. In the evenings we’d watch the Nonas swim in front of the property and wave up to us. It’s perfectly placed in the old town, yet still very quiet, and the balcony they’ve added is fab. The shower could be a little bigger, though trying to squeeze in made us giggle. We’re a slim to normal build family. We tried to book again for this year’s trip, but were gutted it was already taken. Thoroughly recommend it.

From the apartment you get an amazing view across the water and beach, and it’s easy to walk to everything in old Cefalu. The place feels truly authentic. The owners were lovely and easy to deal with, always ready to help, and their nearby restaurant recommendations were excellent. Thank you!

The view and location were the only positives. We stayed for a week, and what we found didn’t match the Airbnb photos at all. One of the two supplied fans was broken. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly, and whenever you tried to open it, the handle fell off. There was rust all over the bathroom, which felt especially disappointing for what we paid. In one room, a bedside light didn’t work, and the advertised closet was just a clothes rack.
