I was organising my wedding from the Netherlands, and Rosa Maria helped me with everything I needed. We chose Il Dono di Atena for our family and friends, and for me to get ready as a bride. It turned out to be a perfect choice. The setting feels like Sicily, with mountains behind the building and the sea in front, plus a pool, olive trees, and lemon trees. The apartments have Greek gods as their theme, which gives the place an enchanted feel, and the beds are very comfortable. Rosa Maria is responsive and really cares about making her guests happy. She can help with a wedding, a family reunion, or a relaxing holiday, and makes sure the location is lovely for memorable photos. If you’re planning an event or stay in Sicily and aren’t from Cefalú, I’d suggest calling her. She’ll find a solution for what you need.

The pool was essential in the middle of summer, and we also enjoyed the outdoor dining spaces and having parking on site. It’s tucked into the foothills with an ocean view, a nice spot since Cefalu itself felt a bit touristy. Shutters and air conditioning kept the place cool. Rosa was a great host, communicated well, and promptly handled any extra requests. We also got a generous welcome package.

Rosamaria and Pino made our stay in Sicily special with their thoughtful little kindnesses and good tips on places to go and things to do. The place was clean, comfortable, and friendly. We loved it and would definitely recommend Il Dono di Atena.
