We had a lovely family stay with an incredible view. The property is expanding, but that didn’t bother us. Our host was kind and helpful and made the visit perfect. We’d like to return once the rest has opened.

A lovely, clean apartment with modern amenities, including WiFi and parking, and a view over the sea. There’s a walk to reach the beach.

The village is about an 800-meter uphill walk, with a small supermarket, two restaurants and a bar once you get there. For dinner, book ahead at the place with the sea-view terrace. The food was good and not too pricey. The apartment itself was clean and cared for, with a great modern shower, and the wide balcony has a sunshade and lovely views. The beach nearby is lower down, pebbly and really quiet. You barely hear the train, and it isn't a busy line. Cefalù is reasonably close.

The view is great, and the apartment is pretty, but it's basic and too small for four people.

It's a peaceful spot in a handy location if you want to fit both cultural outings and beach time into your holiday.
