Skyview Cefalù

The view down over Cefalu is beautiful, and the place feels like a little piece of heaven. Our friendly host and his daughter welcomed us and took time to explain what there was to do in town. He even helped us wash our rental car at no charge. There’s a dog and a few cats on the property, so animal lovers should feel right at home. We’d happily recommend a stay of a few nights.

Breakfast costs extra and is served by the pool, where the view of the town is incredible. The rooms are well equipped, and there’s a shared kitchen for every two rooms, which makes the place handy for groups of four. It’s just outside Cefalù at the top of a winding road, so drive slowly. We had a bathroom issue that wasn’t up to the usual standard, but the friendly owners dealt with it promptly, which we appreciated. And the view is amazing.

We had a great stay as a family, and the value for the money was outstanding. It’s up on the hill or mountain, a little outside town. We managed easily with taxis, though having a car would probably be better. The family who own and run the place were so nice and accommodating. The views are unbelievable, the pool is lovely, and breakfast is made to order and served beside it. Our room was spacious and well equipped, and we liked having a small kitchen for cooking one evening. I highly recommend it.

The host was so friendly and welcoming, and took time to point out the area and nearby restaurants. They’re also lovely with children, and there are cute kittens and puppies around. We had to check out at 7 in the morning for our flight, but the host got up at 5 to prepare a breakfast box for us to take along. That was such a kind gesture. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable, with a lovely sea view. I’d definitely come back!
