This was my third visit, and the hotel staff were very nice. As we walked away, they apologized for the general manager. He bullied and ridiculed my daughter and her husband after they politely asked for help because their AC wasn't working. They spent two nights in hot, humid conditions, so bad that even their clothes were wet. They weren't offered another room, despite paying 270€ per night, which I would have thought guaranteed decent accommodation. The manager swung around from the front desk, got on his knees, and mocked my daughter, asking, “What do you want me to do? Get on my knees?” I'll never set foot there again or recommend the hotel.

The staff were great and helpful, and check-in was quick and pleasant. Rooms were clean, breakfast was free, and we ate several times at the hotel restaurant. The Sicilian dishes were amazing and well priced. The hotel is right across from the beach in a prime location, with plenty of places to eat nearby. Bring your passport.

I was so disappointed that I couldn't wait to check out. The hotel was noisy and had too many odd restrictions. You have to leave your room key with the front desk whenever you go out, and they hold it for you. Why? The door also makes a loud buzzer sound when you use your card, like you're being locked up. The walls are thin, and you're not allowed to bring outside food or drinks to your room. The front desk controls the AC, and our room never cooled down.

The sea-facing room had a gorgeous view that felt worth every penny. The hotel is beautiful inside, in an incredible location, and the staff gave 100%. They were accommodating despite our very limited Italian. The attached restaurant served excellent food with good service, and the included parking was spacious and extremely close by. There were frustrating issues too. The toilets in the hotel are LOUD, room power is controlled by the key card, and the AC didn't cool well. I'd set it to 17, but the air still felt clearly like 20, and the shades had to stay closed during the day to make the room bearable. The water was warm but never hot.

We'd had a pleasant lunch at the restaurant next door. When I brought my disabled wife back that afternoon to use the bathroom, the stiff, rude, disinterested receptionist refused to let us in, even though we'd eaten there earlier.
