I was there working as a babysitter and really enjoyed it. The place is beautiful inside and out, with lovely views. The garden is clean and safe, and comfortable for playing with children. The rooms are kept in great order. It’s a really good choice for families, and it’s outside the city for anyone who likes privacy.

We felt at home thanks to the owners, who were extremely kind and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Outside, there’s a lovely garden and a pool looking out over an olive orchard. The quiet surroundings are beautiful, right in the heart of Tuscany. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Pisa is less than an hour’s drive to the west, and Florence is under an hour away to the east. This is a lovely holiday let in the Tuscan countryside.

The only real drawback for us was the very hard mattress. There were also quite a few mosquitoes, and barking from a nearby dog shelter at night. After a couple of days, though, the barking stopped bothering us. The rest of our two weeks in Tuscany was wonderful. The property is lovely among the olive groves, with a fairly large, nice pool, and the owners and staff were friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable, and it made a great base for visiting the Chianti region. A few good restaurants are nearby and easy to reach by car.

We stayed here in 2014 and enjoyed it very much. The apartment was lovely, set in a beautiful nature reserve, with peaceful surroundings and a clean pool. We also got an extremely friendly welcome. We met Miran and Laura Polanec from Slovenia during the stay, and we’ve kept in touch and visited each other since. We definitely plan to book Tenuta "Il Vallone" again for another holiday.
