Relais Ca' Levada

It felt like being in an Italian movie, with the whole family under one roof. The hotel is a large villa with a breakfast room and an entertainment room. Our room was spacious enough for four, and the bathroom was huge, with a bubble bath and a lounge chair. The decor is sophisticated. We had the entire hotel to ourselves. Breakfast was very fresh, with fruit, yoghurts and bread.

A really cosy place with a very nice, comfortable interior. It's a little far from town, though.

The property and its location outside were beautiful and well kept, and most of the staff were very courteous. The breakfast was poor. The room had issues, too. An antique wardrobe is fine if it's in good shape, but my dress smelled of old wood the next day. The shower was tiny and hard to use or wash in. It has a "hydromassage" feature, but that alone doesn't make it comfortable or adequate. You have to turn it on after a few minutes because there's no air, which helps with the claustrophobia. I initially gave four stars because of the courteous staff and the lovely location. The person who responded to my review was an exception to that courtesy, and the aggressive, inappropriate response made me lower the rating to one star. Apparently, four stars were too many; one is enough.

The B&B's website matched what I found, and Nadia was very hospitable. The room was especially clean. I'd suggest a bit more variety at breakfast, and I'll definitely come back.
