Coming back here after so many years meant a lot to me. I used to visit often with my mother as a child, and was happy to see how much the campsite has improved and how well organized it is now. It's a lovely place surrounded by nature, with a welcoming feel that's stayed as it has grown. I highly recommend it for a holiday. Families have plenty of activities for children throughout the day, and pets are truly welcome, whether dogs or cats. There's even somewhere to wash them, and they can join you at the beach. Different types of accommodation suit different needs and budgets, and the on-site supermarket is convenient. The location is beautiful. The main restaurant is handy with a range of dishes and pizzas. International visitors will probably enjoy it, though Italian guests used to traditional Italian food may find it less remarkable. The small beach restaurant serves simple fried seafood from 12:00 to 14:00, quite good for an easy lunch by the sea. The pool is great, with yoga and plenty of other ways to relax. ❤️

The snack bar, cafe, restaurant, and minimarket are all nice to have, and the staff were always polite and cordial. The beach is about 500 meters from reception along a safe path away from the road, and it's well kept. There's plenty to keep kids occupied at this family-oriented campsite. Bring lots of mosquito repellent, just a friendly suggestion since it's nobody's fault. The woody tents are handy if you want to sleep and relax without pitching your own tent, but bring a camping stove. The veranda is nicely shaded, though not waterproof, so put up a tarp over it for rainy days. There are three bathroom blocks with hot showers and sinks. The nearest is about 250 meters from the woody tents, which is fine unless it's raining, you have mobility issues, or need to get there urgently. Honestly, those blocks could use some work. The other thing that bothered me was the very loud music from the "theatre" near the woody tents, roughly 8:45 pm to 11 pm. It would be much better if the tents were closer to the bathrooms and farther from the evening entertainment.

Our kids had a great time, especially with the entertainment. The educators were always kind and engaging, and the evening shows were well thought out and fun for the whole family. The market on site is well stocked, though a bit pricey, while the restaurant offers very good value for the quality. Le Marze has a lovely atmosphere in a beautiful pine forest, where it feels like you've escaped the chaos even though the sea and Castiglione della Pescaia are just steps away. It's hard to find a campsite that combines nature, comfort, and such a pleasant feel so well. We had a great time and can only say good things about it.

The bungalow was 1,200 meters from the beach, about a 14-minute walk, which is a long way from the “pochi passi dalla spiaggia” claim on the homepage. The camping map puts the beach next to reception, but that doesn't match Google Maps. The website and map made the distance hard to see. The bungalow itself was run-down, with water damage in the bathroom and the worst-equipped kitchen I've ever had. The air conditioner was filthy, the beds hadn't been made when we arrived, and there was lots of hair left by previous guests. The mattresses were old and very uncomfortable. There was no phone reception for I TIM, Windtre, or Vodafone, so internet was very slow or unavailable and calls only worked sporadically. Wi-Fi was available only at reception.

The location was good, and the fish and fried chips were tasty, but the tent was filthy and nothing like the wooden igloo in the accommodation photo. It also had no fridge, while the other places had one. There was no Wi-Fi and the internet signal was poor. When I asked why the other units had fridges and ours didn't, they said they didn't know and hung up while I was still talking to reception. I only had to call once, but the customer service was really bad. Very disappointing.
