For three of us, even the second shower left us struggling with cold water, and the shower itself was broken and difficult to use. The coffee machine didn’t work either. Worst of all, the air conditioning wouldn’t heat the room, so we were cold all night. I woke up with a cold and a sore throat. I wish the room had been warm when I arrived, but it wasn’t. Luxury is only in the name.

The beds were comfortable and the furnishings felt elegant and carefully chosen. The room is right in the center of Ceglie Messapica, a lovely discovery. The bathroom setup is awkwardly cramped, with the toilet in its own tiny cubicle and the sink and shower squeezed into another small area. In summer, the air conditioner points straight at the bed, so the person sleeping there gets cold, and its loud noise makes it impossible to sleep. Opening the little door/window isn’t really an option either, since the room faces the street and you hear all the noise.

I stayed here for work, and it’s one of the loveliest B&Bs I’ve experienced. The room feels special, with real beauty and elegance, but the hospitality and care in the small details stood out most. Truly wonderful, thanks for everything!

We had the MIREA room at this charming B&B. Everything was clean and so well looked after. The staff were courteous and friendly, and happy to answer questions or explain anything. We’ll certainly come back.

It’s a pleasant room with what you need for a short visit. There isn’t a window, though that didn’t bother me for a single night.
