Trulli arabesco

You’ll need your own transport, but the place is peaceful, away from the main roads, and close to plenty of sights. The hosts were wonderful, and the accommodation was modern and clean, with WiFi and heating and cooling. It was also more disability friendly than most places.

The garden, with olive trees and aromatic plants, gives the trulli a lovely sense of seclusion, though Ceglie and Ostuni are still nearby. Everything was well maintained and modernized without losing the traditional feel. Mr. Piero was incredibly kind and made us feel at home, almost like family. Highly recommended.

The children had lots of room to run around safely on the huge property while we got meals ready. Inside, the trullo was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed, from a well equipped indoor kitchenette to bathroom kits with toothbrushes and other essentials. There was also a large, well equipped outdoor kitchen. We stayed as a family at the end of October, during olive harvest season, and sometimes saw our attentive host in the mornings. He was so kind that the kids wanted to check if he was around to say hello before heading out to sightsee. We loved our stay and hope we can return.

The quiet little cats were a lovely bonus, and our daughter got to care for three tiny mice! The estate and trulli were very clean, cozy, and practical, a different kind of place to stay. Pieró was a sweet, helpful host who looked after us and was quick to answer questions about sights or good restaurants. Since it’s a bit far from everything, a pool would be great. We heard one is meant to be built next year. Thanks, and hopefully we’ll visit again!
