The outdoor spaces made this stay especially lovely: we ate and had drinks at several spots, including the roof terrace and the sheltered dining area with its lighting and plants. Around the pool, the loungers were light enough to move as the sun shifted, and we loved the fruiting almond and lemon trees, prickly pears, and other succulents. The house itself is gorgeous, too. Trullo La Succulenta worked beautifully for our group, and the kitchen had what we needed to cook, though it felt a little cramped and there’s no oven. We used the outdoor grill twice. Coffee for seven was a slow job with the tiny moka pot, so a bigger pot or a cafetière would make mornings much easier. Viviana was quick to help whenever we had questions, even on a public holiday. It’s very remote, so having a car matters, and taxis are pricey. We had a great stay and would happily recommend it for groups of up to eight looking for a self-catering place in Puglia.

The house sits a little higher up, and during our stay from July 27th to August 3rd that meant a lovely breeze and a comfortable climate, without excessive heat. Getting there was easy, without having to tackle the narrow typical Apulian roads, and as a group of women we felt safe, with the alarm system adding reassurance. There’s a big garden where we picked figs, plums, and pears for breakfast, plus plenty of places to sit, three tables, sofas, deckchairs, sun loungers, and a barbecue. We also loved the pool looking out over the olive trees and the private outdoor shower with the same view. Inside, all the bedrooms had air conditioning and comfortable beds, and the kitchen was very functional with a dishwasher. A wonderful, relaxing week. We’d love to come back as soon as we can.

We were made to feel welcome right away. The trullo has four nicely furnished bedrooms, feels comfortable and inviting, and offers plenty of privacy. The infinity pool was wonderful. A magical place!

We were so comfortable that we added another night. Everything was clean, and the place was peaceful and beautiful. The host was always quick to respond to our many questions. We’d definitely recommend staying here. Thanks, Valentina and Viviana, for such a memorable visit!
