The room was cleaned only once during our five days, and the towels were changed when we asked. All the rooms had terraces, but one smelled bad. I only noticed on our last day that there were dumpsters nearby. There were no trash bins in the yard, and nobody cleared the rubbish from the terrace. It felt like a place to sleep before heading out, since the food was very basic and there wasn't much reason to stay around. Getting in was easy: online check-in worked well, and the access code came by email and WhatsApp. We parked on the street right in front without trouble. It’s a small, quiet hotel. Restaurants are around ten minutes away, with a good one just three minutes on foot where the bistechia (beef) comes on a hot plate, among other dishes. The supermarket is also a three-minute walk, and there’s a very nice pizzeria five minutes away. Beaches are at least 15 minutes off, depending on which one you want. Breakfast was a real letdown. The older woman at the buffet was extremely unhelpful and seemed very annoyed; she spoke only Italian. We were three families, nine people including children, travelling together. There were just five or six boiled eggs, some scrambled eggs, and a small bowl of fried sausages. I set aside a little plate of cheese, salami, and butter for everyone, but it was hard to refill and took too long. Croissants, rolls, Nutella, and jam were available too, but the food was exactly the same each day. I asked whether there could be vegetables, but there were no tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, olives, or anything else. On some days there weren't enough cups. Once, the woman told an Italian family that we were at fault for taking cups to our room, apparently thinking we couldn't understand. We had taken coffee to drink on the terrace, but it seems we were expected to bring the cups back.

A clean, pleasant room with a lovely terrace, and a handy base for seeing the area around Carrara and Cinque Terre. There’s free street parking, a large grocery store nearby, and a couple of great restaurants within walking distance.

The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, and the rooms were comfortable. I was working on my laptop and had worried the WiFi might be weak after reading other reviews, but it was fast and worked perfectly. Even in August, we found a parking spot right outside. I’d happily stay again if I’m back in the area 😊

The property is lovely, modern, peaceful, and very clean, with plenty of free parking outside. Online check-in was simple, and when we arrived a couple maniera took us straight to our room. The staff respond very quickly if you get in touch. Highly recommend!
