La Melis Airport

Our flight to the USA was canceled, so we found Dream and Fly Scafa on Google and contacted Samir to ask about a place to stay. Check with the owner about alternatives, since there is more than one apartment and the one in the photos wasn’t ours. We stayed at 119 Via della Scafa, 00054, Fiumicino. It was in a new building, spacious and clean, with a kitchen, iron, hairdryer, and washing machine. The location was very good, about 9 minutes by car from Fiumicino Airport, and there were lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Parking in the building was included. Samir was kind and helpful, let us check in at 11:00 instead of 13:00, and allowed a late checkout without extra cost. There were four of us, my husband, our two kids, and me. We had a very positive experience, and would stay there again when we need to be near the airport. Thanks, Samir, for being a great host.

This was a lovely way to end an amazing family trip, and I feel lucky we found it. The self check-in was easy, the beds were comfortable, and there were clean towels, water in the fridge, Netflix, and thoughtful little details. It was only minutes from the airport. Our host went above and beyond every time we interacted. When I was tired and unsure which door to use, he replied within a minute. He also helped with dinner and Cana to airport. I’m grateful for the difference he made to our trip.

The host was nice, and the stay was okay, but the kitchen was missing things. There was no fork or plate to eat from, and just one knife.

Ginebra is a top-notch host. Good luck!
