The paths through vineyards and past historic buildings were lovely for walks and runs, and the surrounding countryside really is special. The village is so peaceful, and as a woman travelling alone I felt completely safe. At Carletto’s, the bedrooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, the showers great, and everything was a good size. We could use the kitchen, cooker, large fridge, kettle and fresh drinking water, with places to eat both inside and out. There’s a sweet garden and good parking, too. Breakfast was simple and fresh, with figs and tomatoes from the garden. Carletto was kind, funny, helpful and full of information. Every day and every moment here felt wonderful and relaxing. I’m leaving today and already want to come back. Thanks for everything, Carletto. See you soon.

The setting is lovely, among Monferrato’s colorful rolling hills, with lemon trees greeting you as you arrive. Carletto loves the land and traditions of this corner of paradise, and his warm, distinctive welcome made us feel at home right away. He talks with real enthusiasm about the aromatic herbs and the history of the infernot. I’ll leave that story as a surprise for future guests! Breakfast came with superb moka coffee. The friends and relatives I’ve hosted there have loved both the location and the owner. Carletto is a genuinely special person, so attentive and helpful, and he explains the history of the house and the area with great care.

The place is lovely and so carefully looked after. We had a delightful weekend, and the people there made us feel like we were staying with friends from the moment we arrived. Definitely one to remember, and maybe to do again!
