We spent our evenings looking up at the stars in the dark, something we can’t do in the city. The private garden was fully fenced and had a ping pong table, barbecue, fig tree, and strawberry plants. The spacious apartment is in a very quiet, tucked-away area, and it suited us perfectly with our dogs. The owners were kind and friendly, and the place had everything we needed, even though we mostly used it as a base to visit the nearby villages.

The owners were very kind and helpful, and we loved relaxing on the flower-filled terrace among all the greenery. The cottage is peacefully set on a small road just outside Celleno. The “ghost village” of Celleno, abandoned in 1951, is definitely worth seeing.
