B&B Belvedere

The terrace was a real highlight, with a lovely sea view and chairs, a table, and a sun lounger. Our room was on the small side, but nice, and the bathroom was spotless with a big shower. There was also a fridge for drinks and plenty of closet space. We paid just over €80 a night for two, including breakfast and reserved parking right next to the hotel, which seems unusual in Palinuro. The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast had both sweet and savory choices. The little hotel is about 800 meters from the beach road. We'd happily stay at the Belvedere again if we're back in the area.

The rooms look out toward the sea, and the B&B is handy for beach days and water sports, with a diving center on the beach. It's on the provincial road, a few meters from Palinuro's main road, and about 500 meters from the first lovely beach on the way to the marina. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast works well if you prefer sweet food, though there was less for savory eaters. The shower could use an update, and the water pressure needs attention because the temperature can swing suddenly from scalding to freezing. Still, I'd recommend the place. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the free shuttle to Marinella Beach was well organized. We stayed here for an August holiday two years in a row, and both times found the rooms clean and cozy. The sea view is fantastic, especially at sunset. It's also a great spot for getting around, with the center a five-minute walk away and the harbor beach no more than ten minutes away.
