For a gardening enthusiast like me, the grounds were the highlight: olive trees, fruit trees, and vegetables grown by Giuseppe’s father, alongside an olive grove and vegetable garden. The property is peaceful and set well back from the road. Rooms were clean and quiet, and had air conditioning. Breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of homemade pastries from Carmen and Giuseppe’s mother. There’s also a kitchen next to the breakfast room where guests can prepare or reheat food. It’s under a 10-minute drive to central Palinuro and the main beaches, and Carmen is happy to suggest beaches. I stayed in mid-September and loved everything. Carmen and Giuseppe run the place with their parents. They’re friendly, intelligent, open, and clearly love the area. They became good friends, and I’ll be glad to see them again.

We stayed from July 1 to 12, 2024, and really enjoyed the calm, green setting. There’s a beautifully kept garden with a vegetable plot, olive trees, and fruit trees, which gives the place a peaceful feel. The rooms were spotless, functional, and well equipped, with outdoor patios. Breakfast was superb, especially the homemade desserts, and the owners were genuinely kind and friendly. The beaches are only a few minutes away by car. Highly recommended.

The B&B is well placed for getting to all the lovely beaches in just a few minutes. We got really helpful advice from Giuseppe about dinner reservations and which beaches to visit. Carmen’s homemade pastries were delicious every morning, and the kindness of the family was priceless. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and sheets, and always smelled wonderful when we got back. A wonderful family. If I could, I’d give them 10 stars. Book and see for yourself.

Carmen made me a delicious lactose-free dessert each morning because I’m lactose intolerant, and she took such good care of us at breakfast. On our first day, she welcomed us so warmly and explained how to get around. The property has discounts with many beach restaurants and can also arrange a boat tour along the coast. Giuseppe was just as kind and helpful, always ready to meet our needs. The rooms were spotless and just the right size. If you’re going to Palinuro, Villa Rosada is a real treat and a fantastic place to stay.

Carmen gave us very useful tips for making the most of Palinuro, and the beaches are reachable by car or, if requested, a shuttle from the partner beaches. Breakfast in the annex was generous and excellent, especially the cakes, tarts, and pastries Carmen and her mother make each morning. The Luise family, including their dog Marlin, gave us a warm welcome. The B&B is near Palinuro but away from the busy areas, with a good location for visiting the beaches. Parking is in the spacious, well-kept garden. Our room was cozy and quiet, with new furnishings, a TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a hairdryer. There’s also a refrigerator in the annex. Everything was cleaned very thoroughly every day. Outside the room there’s a clothesline, table, and chairs. Recommended.
