After cycling from Enna in May 2024, we stayed just one night. The host replied quickly to messages and gave us helpful advice. She was very kind, and the man who let us in even drove back to Enna with me to collect our car, a round trip of about two hours for him. It feels like a family home, but not a stuffy one. The place is lived in and has a lot of history about the tailor family who lived there. Centuripe is an authentic Italian town and made a pleasant stop at the end of our ride. The host also made a ground-floor room next to the property available for our bikes.

The owner, Michaela, is a keen cyclist herself, and her kindness and helpfulness made us feel at home right away. We were two people arriving by bike, and B&B La Sartoria in Centuripe was a wonderful find. The apartment was clean, welcoming, and stocked with everything we needed. It's right on the main street in the center, a great base for exploring on foot. A 10 out of 10!

My husband and I spent a month at La Sartoria in Centuripe, and found it warm, comfortable, and fully equipped. It works well for either a short visit or a longer stay. The host, Maria Micaela, was extremely kind and always available. The village is picturesque, old, and welcoming, and the friendly people made our stay memorable. Centuripe is also well connected to Catania and Palermo, making it a handy base for exploring Sicily. Prices locally are affordable. Highly recommended!

Everything was within easy reach from the apartment, right in the center. It wasn't modern, as you'd expect in the historic center, but it had everything needed and everything was in good order. It was already warm when I arrived for my one-night stay. The hostess was kind and helpful, and I left very satisfied.

The best way to enjoy Centuripe is to stay several days and take your time exploring Mount Etna and the nearby scenery. It's one of Sicily's most charming and least touristy towns, peaceful, genuine, and full of everyday life. An ideal place if you want to get away from throwaway tourism and experience travel as a chance to discover and grow. For a bite, try the real arancini (yes, real!) at the bar-restaurant on the central square, a little ritual of flavor and tradition. At "La Sartoria," you step into the feel of a typical Sicilian home from the early 20th century. The atmosphere carries the memories and quiet beauty of Centuripe's tailor. A charming terrace looks over the town's main street and gives the house a familiar, picturesque feel. It has a historic character, but modern comforts are all there, including effective air conditioning. Michela, the owner, takes great care of the details and welcomes guests with warmth and unusual dedication.
