Vecchia Dimora Resort

Wonderful, though it could've been cleaner.

Valeria deserves special mention for the support she gives on site. She's always available and does her best to make the holiday relaxing and enjoyable. That's real hospitality. The villa was clean and right in the heart of Sicily, a good choice for a quiet break away from the crowds and for day trips. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the kitchen is well stocked. The oven was broken, unfortunately, but they gave us a small replacement. The pool was cleaned every day, and there was plenty of swim gear available, including life jackets for children.

The villa is lovely and spacious, well suited to groups of up to 10. It has five double bedrooms, though one is upstairs from another, which means less privacy between those rooms. There's a bathroom for all the bedrooms, plus an extra accessible bathroom. Outside, there's a private pool with a barbecue area, a playground, and a gym. I didn't give it five stars because of the location. The roads make it a bit far from the island's tourist spots, though Centuripe, which is worth visiting especially at night, is only 10 minutes away. 100% recommended.

Valeria, the owner, is a delight, and we really enjoyed the house. It's quiet and comfortable, very spacious, clean, and well equipped. There were seven of us and we had lots of room, so it's ideal for families or groups. I'd definitely come back.
