Il Ruscello di Ceraso

The homemade breakfast was a real highlight, especially the cakes, jams, yogurt and biscuits with chopped hazelnuts. My room was clean and welcoming, and the bed was very comfortable. I came across this farmhouse by chance and would definitely recommend it. Its position makes it easy to explore Cilento, between the mountains and the sea. After a lovely day at Ruscello beach, I could unwind to the sound of running water and enjoy the cool hillside air. The owners were kind and happy to share information about the area, and made me feel like a guest at a friend's home.

We were a group of friends staying in three rooms in July 2016, and would love to come back soon. The large garden inside was a lovely spot for breakfast and for lingering after dinner. Even in the very hot weather, our rooms stayed cool and comfortable. The place is peaceful, with relaxing scenery, and the beautiful Cilento beaches are about 20-30 minutes away. A peaceful walk along the path beside the stream was a lovely way to enjoy the cool air. The property sits among greenery right by the water. Alberto, the owner, was incredibly friendly and knew a lot about the area. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and you could tell it was made with care each morning.

The owners are one of a kind, and the welcome was unforgettable. It’s a peaceful, enchanting spot that’s well worth a visit. Breakfast felt just like what grandma used to make for the holidays.
