We were there during the apple harvest and could help ourselves to apples, tomatoes, and oxheart tomatoes. That was a real treat, and the Unterthurner family made the whole holiday feel special. Every morning they deliver bread rolls, with plenty to choose from at fair prices. The hosts are very friendly, the apartment is spotless and thoughtfully equipped, and the views across the valley to the mountains are breathtaking.

There are plenty of hiking ideas in the books, flyers, and magazines provided, and in warm weather the cable cars can take you up to 2000 meters for walks with lovely views. We found the balcony especially comfortable in the evenings: the house gets sun early, then shade later, so it stayed cool inside while we sat out late. The balcony view was FANTASTIC, and the modern, very clean rooms had comfortable beds. We were greeted with a drink, including homemade apple juice, and fresh rolls arrive each morning for a very reasonable price. Free Wi-Fi too. Highly recommended.

Finding the place was easier with Google Maps, which took us straight to the address; the directions in Waze were quite vague. Once there, we found a bright, spacious apartment that was beautifully furnished and very, very clean. The hosts are so welcoming and offer each guest a complimentary drink of their choice. The view over the valley from up there is breathtaking. We also left with a bottle of wine produced or grown locally.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the cleanliness is second to none. They bring crisp apples every day, and the bread roll delivery runs flawlessly. The facilities are very good and the service is excellent. It’s in a great spot, though getting up the driveway takes a bit of skill. We were offered a welcome drink of our choice.
