I stayed one night in a cozy single room at A Casa Di Luna, and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, communication was easy, and check-in happened on time. They gave me great tips on where to eat, and the restaurant I tried was amazing. The house isn't right in the center, but the bus stop is directly outside, or you can walk there in about 10-15 minutes. Thanks for a nice stay.

The building has a great atmosphere, and I loved the frescoes on the ceiling. It's an old house, but it's in great shape, and everything was very clean. The shared kitchen wasn't available to use after covid, which was a shame, though you might be able to use it if you're staying longer. The location is close to the center, with restaurants, bars, shops, a laundry, and a barber nearby. Parking is available on the next parallel street for 7,5€/day, about a five-minute walk away. It's a great place to stay for a few days while exploring Bologna.

The owner was easy to reach, and the room had air conditioning. It was reasonably quiet despite some opinions to the contrary, and reasonably priced compared with other places. The city center and most attractions are close enough to walk to. Everything was fine.

The room was nice and clean, with air conditioning, and we could use the shared kitchen. The location was great. Check-in felt unsafe and awkward, though. We arrived around 6pm, still within the check-in window, but nobody was there, so it was handled remotely over WhatsApp. That was workable, but we couldn't ask anyone about the things we wanted to know. The person we spoke with, Michele, asked us to send our ID over WhatsApp and pay the city tax. Sending ID through the app didn't seem safe to us, and we were then told to leave the money in the shared kitchen, where anyone could get to it. We asked if he could come in person, but he wanted us to fit our plans around him. Who stays at a hotel at 3pm when they could be sightseeing? In the end we sent the ID through the app, but we didn't like the whole arrangement.

The room only had two windows in the roof, and they couldn't be opened when it rained, so getting fresh air was limited. Michele was very helpful and did his best to make our stay as good as possible. It's a good choice for a few nights in Bologna, within walking distance of the center. Recommended.
