The comfort here beats a lot of four-star hotels, and even the room felt better than some five-star places. It’s a contemporary building about a 10-minute walk from the Vatican, right in the heart of Rome, with friendly, accommodating service and a very nice breakfast. I can’t believe you can find a place this good here. If I come back to this wonderful city, this will be my first stop. Amazing.

The bed was broken, and it took two days to get it fixed. We slept on the floor in the meantime. When we complained, the owner/host acted aggressively, so we had to block him on WhatsApp. After our stay, he cancelled the booking, which meant we couldn’t leave a review on Booking. Just look at a few ratings that aren’t 10 out of 10 to see what he’s like. He doesn’t seem to care anymore, and things are going downhill.

It’s a fabulous spot, modern and clean, with the Vatican, Castel Sant’Angelo and Ponte Sant’Angelo all an easy walk away.
