Trattoria Laghee

The staff were friendly and the pizza was nice. Nothing that really stood out, but it was perfectly fine. I’d come back.

After a long walk from Como, we reached Cernobbio hungry and happened upon Laghee. The staff were pleasantly friendly, and there was a lot to choose from on the menu. We’d planned to grab a pizza and move on, but ended up having the Pink Trout and sausage pasta instead. Both were delicious. It’s about 3 minutes from the Ferry, and I’d go back.

On my first night in Cernobbio, we were hungry and hadn’t planned ahead, so we stopped here. The staff were friendly, but the food was just average. My tagliorini with lake fish Ragu was too dry. Nothing special overall.

We had to listen to a few sighs from the staff because we hadn’t booked, though they did eventually find us a table. The bread was stale and came without condiments or even a plate. After 55 minutes, our poorly made risotto finally arrived. The ingredients tasted good and seemed high quality, which made the poor preparation even more disappointing. Even the sparkling water came in a reused bottle with a partly peeled sticker. I’d rather skip dinner than come back.
