I’ve had a great time here every visit. Waking up to that view is the thing about Tuscany I really envy.

The host is welcoming, kind and helpful, and the property is comfortable, clean and well organized. Parking is reserved, and umbrellas and loungers are provided. There are two lovely pools, one for adults and one for children. It’s a great place to enjoy Tuscany, with Florence, Pisa, Pistoia and Lucca all a short distance away.

We came back in 2025 after staying here in 2019. It’s a handy central base for exploring Tuscany. There’s a new owner, and the apartments have been or are being renovated, with additions such as air conditioning and dishwashers. Some of the complex is rented for longer stays, so there are fewer tourists around. Paolo was very friendly and easy to contact with questions. The bakery no longer comes by in the mornings, unfortunately, and most evenings the restaurant farther down the road makes quite a lot of noise, though it’s cheerful noise.

We rented two large apartments for our extended family and had a great stay. It’s a family-run holiday apartment complex with good facilities, generous green spaces and a lovely big pool that’s regularly maintained. The price was very reasonable, and everything was excellent. We’ll definitely come back. The sea and the well-known cities are around an hour away and easy to reach.
