The rooms are nice and give you extra space if you need it. Our layout had an entry hallway for boots, then a separate living room with a sofa bed and table, a kitchen and fridge, and finally the bedroom and bathroom. It didn’t feel as personal as other places we’ve stayed around here, and we usually prefer more of a B&B. They do offer breakfast items à la carte for a fee, delivered to the room, though we didn’t order any. There’s a bakery down the street, or you can pick up yogurt and other food at a grocery store. We always found a space in the outside lot, but it could fill up if you’re the last one back. There might also be an underground lot; we didn’t use it and aren’t sure if there’s an extra charge, so ask. I never think there are enough dinner options in town, so I prefer places with their own restaurant.

We had a wonderful week in Alta Badia, and we’re so grateful to the Ciasa Antersies team. It’s an aparthotel, so you get hotel conveniences alongside an apartment setup. You can arrive any day of the week instead of being tied to Saturday-to-Saturday bookings, which helps avoid heavy traffic on European highways. The apartment is cleaned daily, and you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen if you want. With local produce, you might not even need to go out to a restaurant. After skiing, it was lovely to unwind in the small, cosy sauna or out on the balcony with its beautiful view.
