Casalsole

From 23rd to 30th August 2025, our family booked all 11 apartments for 16 adults and 6 children. What started as a family holiday became a wedding, bringing together relatives from the USA, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Italy, including people who had never met before. The property is near where my Italian family live, which made it especially meaningful. Irene and Eleonora, the villa-owning sisters, were so lovely and helped us get everything ready for the day. It was the first wedding held there, and I doubt it will be the last. We had privacy and use of the beautiful gardens and pool, with panoramic views over vineyards, some owned by the villa. Their winery is right on site and well worth a visit and tasting. My wife, our family, and I are truly grateful to Irene and Eleonora for giving us a stay we'll never forget.

We spent five wonderful days at this beautiful estate celebrating a joint birthday with friends and family. The hosts were so welcoming, and the house, pool, vineyard views, and setting made the occasion feel special. Dinner and the wine tasting on site were another highlight. They even drove our last guests to the airport themselves, which was incredibly kind. One thing that could make group cooking easier would be a larger fridge and a sink in the main room. We'd love to return!

Casalsole worked really well for our week in Tuscany. We could head out to explore different cities, then come back to a peaceful getaway that was still close to the bigger places. Irene and Eleonora were lovely hosts, and we felt welcomed and got a taste of the local culture.

This house feels like a scene from a movie, with the Tuscan view we were hoping for. The garden is huge and green, with lots of places to sit, and it's far enough from city and highway noise that you hear birds all day. Vineyards cover many of the green hills and valleys around it. There's a pool when the weather is right, and plenty of sunshine. Inside, the apartment was comfortable and very clean. The beds, furniture, sheets, and towels were all good, the kitchenette had what we needed, and there were enough heating and cooling options. Hot water was available around the clock, and the WiFi worked very well. I also liked that the owners put recycling bins in the rooms to encourage eco-friendly tourism. There's a large parking area on the property. A few nearby towns with services and restaurants are 10-15 minutes away by car. Siena and other towns and cities are within about half an hour. Pisa is less than an hour away, Florence around 40 minutes, and the beaches within an hour. Even Cinque Terre is about 1.5 hours away, so it's a great base for exploring Tuscany. The hosts, Eleanora and Irene, were the best part. They were friendly, warm, and kind, and made us feel like family even though we only met during the stay. Their suggestions for places to see and ways to get around were great, and they clearly take good care of the house. They also managed our late check-in request despite the short notice. On arrival, they'd left bread, butter, jam, cookies, juice, and an Italian delicacy in the room so we'd have a proper breakfast the next morning. I travel a lot, with 38 countries and more than 140 cities behind me, and this is the best vacation home I've stayed in. Thanks so much, we'll be back soon!
