Bed & Breakfast Podere Montagione

This was our second time here. The staff are very good, the pitches are nice, and the sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained, with clean drinking water too. If you’re arriving with a tent, you’ll definitely want one of the small pitches with a view. Rent a Vespa for a day and see the Chianti villages. It’s an amazing experience.

There’s a bread ordering service, which worked perfectly for our family, and a nice bar. Each pitch is quite spacious, with amazing views, and the staff are really friendly. The showers and toilets are very clean and well maintained. Wifi only works at reception and the bar.

A quiet, beautiful campsite in a great location. The staff were super friendly the whole time and ready to answer any questions we had. San Gimignano is a must-visit from here. One small suggestion: it was a bit rainy and the paths got muddy, so adding some gravel could help.

The views are incredible, and the pool area is a lovely place to relax and take in the scenery. The little bar was nice too, and the staff were happy to chat about the local wines and suggest what to try. I camped here with my dog in August, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Getting there by public transport can be a bit tricky. We took the train to Certaldo and then a taxi, which cost 40 euros each way, but it was definitely worth it. I was near the sinks, where some people washed pots and pans around midnight, so noise was an issue at night. A sign discouraging that would be helpful. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay for a great price.
