Le Casette in Collina

We've been coming here for about five years, and there's been nothing to complain about. The rooms are great, Patrizia is a lovely owner, and the setting is very quiet. It's a strategic place to stay if you need to get to the Bambino Gesù Hospital, and there's an excellent restaurant on site.

Antonella's hospitality is priceless, and the cottage is spotless and tidy, with a little garden. The peaceful setting has a spectacular view, too. It's only a few kilometers from the Banditaccia necropolis and the waterfalls, and 30 km from Rome. A lovely mix of relaxation and culture, with an excellent location.

I'd avoid this place. It's isolated, noisy, and poorly equipped. The accommodation is next to a restaurant, less than 20 meters away, and there are no taxis, buses, or trains nearby. The nearest train station is 10 km away, Rome is a 55-minute drive, the beach is a three-hour walk, and shops are kilometers away. Towels and bed linen cost extra, and there's no toilet paper or soap. Cleanliness was poor, with a visibly dirty toilet seat and cobwebs in the bedroom. The sofa bed used as a bed was very uncomfortable. They ask for a 100 euro deposit at the start and 50 euros on departure for cleaning. Guests are told they'll be charged extra if they use too much electricity, and have to take out the trash themselves. It was the most inhospitable place I've ever stayed.

The apartment is lovely and beautifully furnished, and its location is strategic, near the Tyrrhenian coast and just a few kilometers from Fiumicino Airport. The lady was so kind and friendly.
