Hotel K2 Cervia

The location is the one thing this hotel has going for it, if that matters to you. We stayed just one night while passing through, and we won't be back. It wasn't cheap, either. Our bedroom was clean, but the place is VERY DATED AND NOT RENOVATED. The closet door was coming apart, as was the wallpaper. The shared areas were dusty, smelly, and not clean. Breakfast was pitiful. There were eggs, no bacon, a little prosciutto and cheese, dry mini croissants, and plenty of jams, yogurt, cereal, and bread. Even the coffee was horrible. The people were nice, but the service felt careless. The woman at the front desk was often absent, on her personal phone when she was there, and once said she was taking a shower and couldn't come check us in. We asked to pay by credit card and were repeatedly told the POS wasn't working and that we should get cash. We insisted, and somehow it worked after all. We had also paid to reserve parking, but our spot wasn't available when we arrived. We ended up behind another car in the parking passage and had to move ours three or four times. A definite no for us. I don't know how this place is still operating or has 3 stars.
