Hotel Losanna

We had such a good holiday and would gladly return when we get the chance. The place is clean and tidy, with a nice, pleasant feel to it. The owner and staff were all lovely, smiling, cheerful, and accommodating, and they always found a way to help.

The staff were friendly and helped me out when they could speak English, since my Italian isn't very good. Nice hotel, nice people. I was the only Scots man there, lol.

I've been coming to Emilia for 35 years, since I was a child, and I've never dealt with anyone so unprofessional. I first called for a quote and got one quickly. When I rang back a week later to confirm, a man answered, probably the same voice as on the earlier call, which had been “made with a girl.” He said the prices had increased but that he'd honor the quote as an exception. He asked me to message him on WhatsApp, so I did. I requested a room with a side view, ideally with a sea view, and he changed everything. He said it would be €100 more, then suggested I contact him again a few days later, adding, “the balance is due at check-in.” He shrugged it off and told me to try somewhere else.
