Hotel San Marco

We came across this hotel by luck and had a great stay. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and clean, though a little small. Breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold dishes, pastries, fruit, and eggs made how you like them. It's a short walk to the beach, and Bagno Dario, the sponsored beach club, is worth recommending too. We'd happily come back.

The staff made our holiday especially memorable. Laura at reception was lovely, Mario kept the drinks generous at the bar, and Domenico looked after us so well at meals, even accommodating last-minute changes when he could. Adriana and Ludovica found our relatives a room at a good price at the last minute. The night receptionist was polite, and all the staff, including the cleaners whose names I can't recall, worked hard to make everyone feel looked after. We were three generations, my grandmother, my mum, and me, in a triple room on an all-inclusive plan. We pre-ordered four dishes for both lunch and dinner the day before, and there was also a plentiful breakfast buffet. The food was delicious. Beach loungers and an umbrella were included, and my grandmother enjoyed some dancing on the beach. The location was great, with the beach and pine woods each about a four-minute walk away. Pine trees in the hotel yard climbed toward the balconies by the pool. Everything was meticulously clean, with fresh air and a peaceful atmosphere. We were so happy with our stay that more relatives joined for a couple of days, but San Marco was fully booked. Free bicycles let us explore Milano-Marittima and its summer events, historic Cervia, the forest, and the Terme, where the mud therapy treatment was recommended to us. For a holiday in Milano-Marittima, San Marco felt like excellent value for money.

The staff were really friendly, and we had a great stay. The rooms were clean and pleasant, with just a small bathroom as a minor drawback. Breakfast was fantastic, and they were very flexible about letting us choose breakfast or brunch.
